Brad Rafish
Lend Me Your Walls
For the past 40 years, Brad has provided business consulting services to non-profits, governments, and small businesses as both a team member, partner, and managing partner in Portland-area CPA and Consulting firms. He earned an MBA and was formerly a Certified Government Financial Manager and a Certified Internal Auditor. His focus has been to assist organizations in improving operations through identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness and in many cases, “do more with less.”
Brad has worked with non-profit and foundation boards in various industries including Education, Technology, Philanthropy, Energy, Low Income Housing and Support, Construction, and Workforce Training. Projects have included change management, strategic planning, organizational development, risk assessment, policy and procedure development, needs assessments, and information technology evaluation. He has also conducted financial, compliance, and sunset audits and have assessed a variety of regulatory agencies.
As a “hobbyist” woodworker, Brad appreciates and admires the creativity and talent of local artists. He believes the arts and art education is important to our community, and as a non-artist member, Brads brings his previous business and non-profit experience to assist in DCAA’s expansion and growth. Since Redmond is long overdue for a permanent gallery and education center, Brad is excited to work with the board in pursuing this goal.
In addition to being a Board Member for DCAA, Brad is a Board Member of Brightside Animal Shelter, volunteers with the Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity, NeighborImpact, SMART, and the Village at the Falls.
